Here’s a poem for a change.
We were too busy being alive to stop and question,
Why we were breathing.
And when we did ask, we lost ourselves in questioning,
and forgot all about living.
Only to realise,
that we are alive for the heck of it.
So we tossed our questions
and went back to breathing.
It’s good to question. It provides you with meaning, purpose, direction — all that jazz. But after a certain point, questioning morphs into obsession, a reckless, endless drive to just keep searching and never pause.
But it’s just as important to stop as it is to start.
It is just as important to be as it is to do.
The pursuit is as important as the pinnacle.
Be. Here. Now.
